Software & App Development

Build software around the way your business works.

We design and build web apps, mobile apps, customer portals and internal tools. A project can start with a prototype or a focused first version, with testing and handover agreed before development.

WHEN THIS HELPS

Tools for the people using them.

For founders developing products and businesses that need tools for their staff or customers.

Decide, build, test and hand over

Define what the product needs to do and how the finished work will be accepted.

  1. Requirements

    Users, features, inputs and dependencies.

  2. Prototype

    Review the proposed user journey.

  3. Build

Implement the agreed application and integrations.

  4. Test and accept

Check agreed tasks, quality and known limits.

  5. Release and handover

Provide agreed code, access, documentation and support terms.

Controls throughout the work

  • Source-code ownership and third-party licences follow the agreement.
  • Scope changes and ongoing maintenance are agreed separately.

An example structure for the work. The agreed scope defines the actual stages, deliverables and responsibilities.

Example: review a booking request

A request is not a confirmed booking. The team checks the details before sending a confirmation.

YOUR DELIVERABLES

What you may receive.

Deliverables and formats depend on the agreed scope.

Ways to work with us: Product planning and prototypes; First product versions and custom software; App improvements and maintenance.

COMMON USE CASES

Ways this can fit your work.

HOW IT WORKS

From first discussion to handover.

  1. 01

    Understand the users

We review who will use the software, what they need to do and whether an existing product could meet the need.

  2. 02

    Plan the first version

We agree screens, features, access roles, integrations, accessibility needs and acceptance checks.

  3. 03

    Build and test

We deliver in review stages and test tasks, permissions, errors and system connections.

  4. 04

    Release and hand over

We complete the agreed review and provide source files, access details and instructions, with clear maintenance responsibilities.

INPUTS & ACCESS

What we need from your team.

Explain the problem, users and essential tasks before listing features. Useful inputs include existing systems, sample workflows, designs and integration documentation. We agree account access, data handling, priorities, acceptance checks and who will approve the build and receive the handover.

Agency fees are separate from media, creator, research, software and usage costs unless the proposal says otherwise. Please do not send passwords or sensitive records through the public enquiry form.

Project fit and scope boundaries

A good fit

  • Founders ready to choose the essential features for a first product version.
  • Businesses with tasks their existing tools do not handle well.
  • Teams able to assign a project owner, provide access and review work.

What we do not offer

  • Unlimited features for a fixed budget without priorities.
  • Changes to a system without enough code, account or dependency access.
  • Promises that a software build guarantees demand or removes the need for maintenance.

RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Important boundaries for this work.

The agreement defines acceptance, ownership, licences and handover. Custom code, reusable tools, open-source components and external services can have different terms. Hosting, maintenance, vendor charges and ongoing support must be scoped separately.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions you may have.

Can we start with planning or a prototype?

Yes. We can first define users, tasks, essential features and a proposed first version. You can assess that plan before committing to the full build.

Can you improve our existing app?

We first review code and account access, dependencies, technical condition and the changes needed. We then recommend a focused improvement, maintenance work or a rebuild.

Will we receive the source code?

The proposal defines the source code you receive, documentation, account ownership and any exclusions. It also lists outside components and licences so you know what can be transferred and used.

What happens if we add features?

We assess the effect on cost, timing and the agreed release before starting extra work. We distinguish fixing a defect from adding or changing a requirement.

How long does development take?

Timing depends on features, integrations, data migration, design choices, testing and review time. We agree milestones after planning the work.

Are hosting and maintenance included?

The proposal states hosting, infrastructure and maintenance responsibilities and costs. Support and later improvements can be agreed separately from the first build.
