Scope and responsibility
Political, civic and public-interest work needs a written scope. It must identify the client, authorised representatives, purpose, locations, channels, approvals and relevant election restrictions. We may decline or pause work that lacks authority, evidence or necessary legal review.
Our services must not mislead people about voting eligibility, registration, procedures, results or official authority. We do not guarantee election results, public support, reach or platform approval.
Truthful identity and sponsorship
Identify the sponsor or source where required. Do not impersonate election authorities, news organisations, community groups or independent citizens. Paid promotion must not be disguised as independent news, spontaneous public support or a genuine personal testimonial.
We do not knowingly support fabricated endorsements, fake grassroots activity, deceptive accounts, manipulated evidence, intimidation, threats or content intended to suppress lawful civic participation.
Campaign checks before release
Check the actual campaign against election law, Election Commission directions, the Model Code of Conduct where applicable, spending disclosures, platform permissions and media rules. Obtain Media Certification and Monitoring Committee pre-certification for political ads on electronic or social media wherever required.
Silence periods, polling-day restrictions and exit-poll publication need campaign-specific review. This page is not clearance. Keep approved versions, evidence, permissions, certificates and material changes. Client approval does not remove our independent legal duties.
AI, audiences and research
Synthetic or materially altered campaign content must carry disclosures required by law, Election Commission instructions and platform rules. We do not use cloned voices or fabricated scenes to deceptively make someone appear to say or do something. Authorised creative uses still need appropriate rights and clear context.
We do not offer individual voter profiling, personalized political persuasion or political microtargeting. General-audience communication must respect privacy, lawful data sources and audience choice. We do not design messages to exploit an individual's vulnerabilities.
Research must distinguish evidence, interpretation and uncertainty. Describe the method, sample, dates and important limits where relevant. Do not fabricate findings or present an unrepresentative sample as the view of the public.
Corrections and concerns
Assess material errors or possible violations promptly. Preserve relevant evidence and correct, withdraw or pause content where appropriate. Contact legal@lucidgrowthmedia.com with the content location, concern and supporting information. Urgent legal directions and statutory deadlines take priority over normal review.
Client authority, spending and contractual protection
The client must identify the authorised contracting and funding entity, document campaign approvals and supply evidence supporting factual claims and rights in supplied material. Spending authority and reporting responsibilities must be clear before a placement is booked.
We may refuse, pause or withdraw a placement when necessary approvals, legal clearance or evidence are missing, or a material risk emerges. Scope, non-cancellable external costs, corrections and client-supplied material are governed by the accepted agreement. Payment does not buy an exemption from election law or platform rules.
The Jaipur contractual forum in the Website terms does not limit the powers of election authorities, regulators or courts exercising mandatory jurisdiction. This policy is not a legal opinion on a particular campaign.
